What is outpatient drug-free treatment?
Outpatient drug-free treatment is a type of addiction treatment where individuals attend one-on-one and group counseling sessions for substance abuse and don’t use medication.
The difference between a normal outpatient drug program and an outpatient drug-free program are the use of medications like suboxone and methadone. Suboxone and methadone are both used to wean people off opiates slowly.
